Correcting "dumbed down" hot water flow

Dubbed down or dumbed down hot water wash

Attach this splitter valve to your washer. The second hose from the hot water split. and your cold water inlet hose to the other. Now when you want a hot wash, simply close the valve on the cold side with the little toggle and you'll get a hot fill thru your washer's cold fill valve. Want a warm...

Dubbed down or dumbed down hot water wash

All you need is one of these.........Connect the end of your hot water inlet hose to it, then one of the 2 ends to the washer's hot water inlet...and the other to a "y" valve with shut offs. http://www.ebay.com/itm/300776769900?ssPageName=STRK:MESINDXX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1436.l2649

    Mid 1990's Amana Washing Machine

You say "there is a 5 minute rest after the rinse cycle before continuing on through the wash cycle". Three of the 4 cycles have a spot in the cycle that will cause the washer to pause for a period. First is marked "soak", which is self explanatory, and the second is "Cool down" which is also a...

Quick question - Adjusting water level on a Neptune 5500 washer

Luckily, All the ones I've modded have had analog water level switches that only needed a screwdriver to adjust. The only exception was the Duet with the fill meter valve. Trip that and an automatic drain cycle was started.

    Basic, No Frills Electric Dryer

I purchased a Neptune Dryer from craigslist and not only did the seller run it for me before I handed him the cash, but he even offered to install either a 3-prong or 4-prong cord depending on what I needed. Even threw in a dryer vent to get me started. Keep in mind, people remodel all the time...

    Maytag Netpune randomly fills

Leaking water inlet valves aren't just exclusive to the Neptunes, our GE top loader (circa 2003) had the same problem. I solved it by turning off the water supply. Removing both hoses from the taps. Draining them, then filling the hoses with "lime-a-way" and reattaching the hoses to the taps...

Quick question - Adjusting water level on a Neptune 5500 washer

I'm sure the water level is OK. I've modified every front loader's water level I have ever owned with great results and figured the Neptune was next. I've raised the water level on my Whirlpool Duet, Frigemore, Haier and Malber combos, all of these have windows and the increase in water level...

    Basic, No Frills Electric Dryer

I seriously recommend checking craigslist. You can find a sweet deal on gently used appliances. Might be able to find one from an appliance store that has been refurbished and has a warranty.
