new tide While shopping at Sam's Club yesterday, I noticed the "new" Tide boxes. Upon closer look, the original non-bleach powder still suggested using HE formula if you have a front loader, but the original with bleach says it is compatible with both....wonder if the "new original" is low...

I switched to Finish (Electrasol) years ago.  Performed well during the phosphate years and I was wondering what I would replace it with when the phosphates went away (I also loved the bleach smell, but I grew up with Cascade when it smelled like Comet).  No need to worry....the new Finish...

very poor detergent??? Not in my opinion. I have used it for several years, since developing a severe allergy to Tide. Always used the orange box, but recently bought a box of the formula with Oxi-Clean in it. Both do a great job, even on dirty white socks......

Does anyone know how to raise the water level in my new Speed Queen top loader? I love the machine, but hate the max water level the "water police" have chosen for us. I think the level is adjustable, but I don't have a clue as to how....

lehman's wringers I have not purchased one, but I have been to the store in Kidron, Ohio and have seen them. They are not restored to new condition, but appear to be rebuilt and in very good condition. Most are gasoline engine powered, but they do have a few electric motor machines.
