SPEED QUEEN i'd say the speed queen design because after the solid tubs, the design has stayed the same. just the control panels change colour...

speed yes its single speed. on delicate and perm press it jus does a shorter spin than on regular. and on delicate it agitates for about 2 mins then stops for 2 mins and does that througout the wash. not sure if it does it on delicate to..here is that all important money shot

load sensing i kow it senses the load but i was just wondering because here in SA all our digital top loaders sense but there is still a water level button if you want to set it yourself or just add a little more water

but where do you set the water level on the washer?

dryer thankx! alot more advanced than my whirlpool heavy duty. here in SA the speed queens have the "auto" dry programmes and the whirlpools are all timed. so sad because that looks like a really cool dryer :)

how they work Well its simple. Basically instead of havin an agitator in da middle of da drum, u have a pulsator (like a fan) dats da size of da bottom of da drum. U put da washing in and this pulsator spins da washin around so the machine detects the weight and then uses an appropriate water...
