@jaycey I have a USA Whirlpool top loader and I find liquids work best in it as its only a 12/15 minute wash cycle, it too is in the same place as the boiler so if I want a super hot wash I turn the boiler up and let it fill it does do an actual hot water intake where as some add cold this one...

Ariel Professional I have found it at Costco in 140 wash box for £19.99 I use a calgon tablet and a scoop of Ariel and whites are brilliant and the rubber on the washer is as new still.

Sarah Would it pay you to have a water softener fitted to remove all the calcium and other crud? It may pay in the end as you would have to use less descaler and time spent cleaning filters etc... Also it would help your appliances live longer and give better results. Along with nicer tasting...

I have a 20 yr old Whirlpool DD top loader I find it annoying that it sprays after the main deep rinse and my work around is pressing extra rinse when its finished spinning so it then doesn't flush the conditioner out the fabrics.

No mould when dried out and given a wipe.

You can keep this fully automatic twin tub I will stick to my manually operated one that has a superb spinner which you pretty much remove most of the detergent with the first spin, 2 rinses and a 1 deep rinse and everything is clean and it will heat the water too.
