Will it fire on any heat/cycle setting? If not, see if you have voltage out of the timer. the symptom you described above sounds like a bad timer.

Is the magnetic switch in the motor engaging? IIRC, that needs to be engaged, before the ignitor will light. If the drum is spinning, the magnetic switch "should" be engaged. If it's not, the ignitor and gas valves will not function.

You will need an EPROM reader, the correct EPROM for your machine, a Knowledge of Whatever language it's programmed in and a way to decompile the factory EPROM. Reprogramming a washer should be easier than reprogramming a GM fuel injection system......
