    Very splashy towel load

Well, the nice thing about this washer is that the motor adapts F & P SmartDrive technology and continues to "feel" the load when it is washing, so when it comes to rinse, the water level is more "acceptable", in a sense.

    Very splashy towel load

This load consisted of: - 3 bath towels - 2 hand towels - 2 face towels - 2 kitchen towels - 1 floor towel The load wasn't much. Long story short: Had some problems tricking the washer with the lid open, machine though I added more towels, and filled to maximum water level for Sheets/Towels. I...

Could any Canadian friends help me ID a machine?

Hey! That is the exact same model sitting in my garage! At least I think so. I can't recall if the washer is 8 or 11.

Could any Canadian friends help me ID a machine?

The washer I replaced was a BOL Viking (Filter-Flo, no MiniWash). The description sounds accurate. White control panel with blue writing, 3 white knobs, lid opens to the side, and an orange cycle indicator. HTH

New Fisher and Paykel do not wash with the lid up anymore?

The Oasis locks the lid from start to finish, but at least there is a window!

Christmas lights! from C7's to LED's

With that amount of lights, you BETTER look into some LEDs! I got mine from Costco. Around $15.00CA for 2 sets of 70 C7 multi-coloured LEDs. Try looking around. You may get them at a discount if you trade in your old lights or something.

WASHING MACHINE picture thread part deux

It's the access port for the drain filter. It also lets you gain access to the emergency door switch, as Miele washers have an electronic door switch.

Anybody watch "The Trailer Park Boys"

I don't watch it, but you could try DL-ing it off the internet. Use Limewire, or a Torrent program or something. You can find almost any primetime show on the internet the day after it airs. HTH http://www.mininova.org/sub/225

When things were simpler...time for a photo thread!

Bullying in school... I have experienced it, but mostly because I stood out of the crowd a little. But now I'm in HS with 2000+ students, I just blend in! And it is true; people who bullied in school will grow up victimizing others along the way. Bullying is not a "phase" as some adults/parents...

    My rant about beachles.

At least downloading music is legal in Canada! :D

    How bout some Oasis action

I'm guessing this was done on the Normal cycle. The recirculation spray is only on Sheets/Towels and Bulky/Bedding. And yes, the Clean Washer cycle fills all the way to under the top balancing ring.

I know what I'm getting for Christmas

I know how it feels When you know what your present is and it is in the house hidden somewhere and you just want to find it and rip it open! That is what happened with my new iPod. My parents bought it 2 weeks before my birthday and would only let me open it then. It was VERY hard to resist...

I know what I'm getting for Christmas

It's basically a robot dinosaur that walks, can detect sound, is touch sensitive, can detect objects around it, and much more. Almost all 8-12 year olds put this as a must-have on their Christmas lists this year and lasts.

The sound of a happy Kenmore.

Oasis Actually, if you select the 2nd Rinse option on the Oasis, It will include a through spray rinse after the wash phase. It will spray with water for about 10-20 seconds depending on the size of the load, and then spins the soaked clothes. This process is repeated 3-4 times, then the washer...

    2drumsallergy you have mail

I second that! Jon is very kind and decent towards others, even when they may not agree with his own opinions. If you don't have anything decent to say towards other people on this site, then don't bother saying anything at all.

    My Birthday Present

Well, my parents and brother splurged and got me this. I still can't believe I can have 80GB in the palm of my hand! Now if I can only get them to get me that 24" iMac... BTW I turned 14 yesterday.

    Prices Skyrocket at iTunes

Well, the music companies have been pressuring Apple to raise their prices, but I though that they wouldn't do it. How many songs are on the album anyway? The more songs, like 17-18, the higher the prices. A 12 song album is still $9.99 in Canada.

    KitchenAid DW (by WP) KUDM01TJWH0

I forgot to mention The vent should stay closed 6 minutes after the drying cycle has started and then open to let the steam escape. But since you tore the whole thing out anyway, to heck with it!
