I wrote a message to Eddy 1210 yesterday and someone took it off. I do not appreciate it!

Resentment doesn't get us anywhere...in the end, our whole existence depends on the twitch of a nose.
I am probably guiltier than most (wallow, wallow) of going off topic or posting in the "wrong" forum.
When my comments get moved, I just shrug, try to figure out where I went wrong and make a note for the next time.
'Tis no use wondering why some folks don't just write a short personal note instead of gallivanting of to the webmaster - ever had a younger sibling? Same principle.
Have just learned to live with it - if Robert didn't impose order, we would end up with either the arbitrary decisions of some folks around here who resent any opinion other than their own...or complete chaos.

Not only does he have the right - he IS automaticwasher.org. I sometimes worry that all our nasty little spats will someday upset him so much, he just flips the switch. That's what I meant by "twitch of the nose."
I think he does an excellent job of it - this is a place I feel at home. Heck; I would pay him for it if push came to shove (no, do not read anything into that.) Whenever something someone posts upsets me, I write to them instead of going screaming to Samantha and demanding she do something. Have never yet gotten a nasty response back...or flamed someone who wrote me. And now I suppose it is time to end this thread as it really is not Imperial

I totally agree that robert runs an excellent site, i dont think he knows just how much some of us apreciatte him for all the hard work he puts in. I thought i knew alot about washers and dryers until the day i accidently came across this site and beleive me when i say this it was one of the best days of my life. I emailed robert and i told him i thought ihad died and gone to washing machine heaven coz thats what it felt like and still does. this site has opened up my eyes to all the wonderful machines that have been built over the years and also to know there are so many people who share my passion is a relief as i really used to be embarresed about my addiction to washing machines.
Robert i have said it once and i will keep saying it your a wonderful host and hats off to a much loved site.

it cost many hours of time each week also think of that too. MAY GOD BLESS HIM for this wonderful site he has given us all to enjoy. He has helped many of us in more ways than he will ever know, To have a place to "belong" and not think "am I the only one".... THANK YOU ROBERT!!THANK YOU!

If this website suddenly disappeared, I would cry like a girl!! It's a several-times-a-day stop for me. Although I choose not to post pics of myself, nor have I attended a wash-in, it's a very special community to me. Thanks, Robert, for making it possible. And thanks to all you wacky washer people for being a part of it!

I too check the POD first thing then check the posts. Although I do not attend wash in events nor collect appliances I really do enjoy this site also.
