Ohhhh I grew up with an A3060 which had to go in 1993 when it developed a nasty leak. Long history of machines since then as you all know. And the Zanussi has broken down for the first time today, 7 months down the line...albeit with a lot of heavy abuse!

I used one for 3 months and they're decent machines but Dyson are slowly but surely discontinuing them. Theyre very poor at rinsing and the dual drum action is only working for a very short period of time, coupled with the fact it is noisy it isnt as good as the manufacturer portrays it to be.

i think water could be dribbling from somewhere, i will examine tomorrow evening and see what i can conclude.

Hard towels :( Guys Any ideas what could be causing my electron to flush the softener into wash as soon as it fills? it did it 3 times in a row then i tried it without softner and on the fill for wash, water is tricking into the softener compartment in the middle which is highly annoying even...

In essence mine is like that but mine is the facelifted version which is slightly newer. the one above is the first series electron, the one i have is about 2 years younger i would say.

it spins before the softener rinse and at other points it just distributes after the rinses, final spin is wonderful! just replaced brushes in it yesterday. new pump is on its way however as it works but its not brilliant. it just clicks on and opens the water valve.

Guys As some of you may know I am now the proud owner of a Hoover Energy Control Series Electron 800 De Luxe. I know a lot of you are knowledgable about older machines...so, any ideas why the machine is not spinning in between the rinses on the cottons cycles?

if i use rinse+ the water level is lower. the pics there are of the machine on extra short cottons wash with no rinse+. on this cycle it does just 2 rinses at that water level with a 1000 rpm spin between wash and first rinse and a 1200rpm spin between rinses 1 and 2.

i agree! mine had a very noisy motor though at 1400rpm it was terrible! ive just done a vid of the zanussi making a few bubbles on a 90 degree wash which will be uploaded in the next 10 mins.

got rid of the FL1084 due to bearing pump and door interlock failure so we went and bought a brand new ariston **coughs** MISTAKE NUMBER 343!!!

prog 10 on the softwave was wool if u pressed the wool button but a 30 degree cool wash if u didnt. We got an exchange on that soft wave for a hoover performaEco. That was useless! Breaking down all the time! And...this is the best bit...that machine used to do 4 rinses on cotton...
