Hoover3060
Mark, I haven't bid on the 1100 yet, someone else has. I kow the seller want to get about £50 for it.
I can't decide to whether to bid on that or on the Logic washer and dryer set. I am more inclined to go with the set. That Logic 1100 means alot to me as it's the washer I first used when I loved in to my own flat (that exact one).
Ideally, in terms of the older 1100 like the one you've got, I'd like to waut and see if the 800 version of it comes up. Crazy, I know, but this was my first childhood washer. It has two little round silver spin selectors, not 3, and the panel is all silver not two tone. I don't know the model number. The spin went straight up to 800. The programs were numbers not letters. I think they are letters on the 1100 aren't they - `E: Non fast colours' etc etc.
There was an even older version of the Hoover I just mentioned which had a rocker switch instead of push buttons - `A / B' whereby A gave you the short spin and B the full spin. Many friends had this model which also, if I remember rightly, used a high water level for all the wash programs (single level switch at high setting!)
On the other hand the older machine is rarer and I'd be a fool to let it go! Decisions decision......
