Mine was identical... to the pictures posted... prior to that, I did have a Maytag Jet Clean in another house, with the two full-size arms, and the center tower... by far, the best dishwasher I have ever owned... this one just didn't carry the tradition... George

Had that same machine... it replaced a KitchenAid that had a pump issue... the Maytag never cleaned well... used plenty of water, but had little pressure to the spray... got the KitchenAid repaired, and tossed the Maytag... much better... George

I have the same machine as Dave... I usually tailor the agitation speed based on load size... Full loads fast, medium loads slow, small loads extra slow... Never had a problem with fabric damage... And the only time I hear the machine is when the ATC kicks in during fill... Bought the set 2...
