    Dishwasher film?

You don't want TSP, it actually isn't TSP. You want STTP,(sodium tripolyphosphate)from The Chemistry Store. Cheers!

    Dishwasher film?

I would be finished with Finish, and go to the Cascade powder with Hydro Bleaching action, double checking that it still has the phosphates. I recently was at Target and side by side, there were old phosphated Finish boxes along with new non-phosphate ones, but even the old was around 3.2%...

    Consumer Reports: Dishwasher Brand Reliability

I remember our beloved old KitchenAids scoring well above aveage in the reliability ratings. When the 18 series came out, it dipped somewhat and never went to the top of the reliability charts in CU again.

Considering selling my Whirlpool Duet HT

The KitchenAid washer really differs from its Kenmore -Whirlpool cousins, mostly that its agitator has wider fins and goes 120 SPM instead of 180(though the Whirlpool does step down to 120),and has a triple coat tub,an all copper wiring motor that runs cooler with bigger loads, spray rinsing in...

Starting 'May Is Maytag Month' with a bang!

Absolutely true.If a Maytag is not stuffed, they wash just fine, and are DEFINATELY more gentle than the DD Kenmores. Maytags with the Helical Drive are the best washers all around. They're not as fun or flashy as some others, though. And the one weakness they had was that you could'nt stuff them...

Cloudy Residue on Dishes and Glassware

Also, you could run an empty machine with Tang, with lemonade powder, (unsweetened would be best ) or with one of those newfangled DW cleaners, that should do it.

Cloudy Residue on Dishes and Glassware

When will this film be over with Just recently, brand new boxes of Electrosol Finish are phosphate free, that could be the problem. Cascade Complete all in one pacs work best for me.So far, they still have phosphates.

Today POD of Frigidaire - Saturday March 20th

Yes Tom, the poor little girl's hands must be hot from those scorching clothes thus the dryer can't be called the Frigidaire but more like it,the Fry-the-aire lol!

    P O D 3/19/10......

Note that the detergent was put on TOP of the load, which gave the Kenmore an unfair edge off the bat. If the soap was put in the bottom, then the load, which it should be anyway, the results would be different I'd say!

If the Little Rascals had ever designed a Portable Dishwasher

I think either Mr. Haney or Jethro Bodine did that, lol.

Aladude, your Thermador just needs fixing obviously. Besides the wash arm, perhaps the fill valve screen is clogged.

    That Thermador is fabulicious!

    The Power Shower Anti-Giblet-Niblet Thang

Do Power Showers,Overhead Constant Rinses and the like REALLY help with foo-foos utop the upper rack items? Seems the average 3 GPM force wouldn't be enough to do diddly squat. And if the machine is unfiltered, the shower itself would spit out particles, would it not ?

    Waste King kills KitchenAid

I know I may get crucified here for my blasphemy, but I love WK dishwashers far more than KAs. Why? Because their straight-thru 60 GPM wash action is better, they hold more, they clean that well even with no filter, they dry better with no fan, they are not common ,they have thicker racks with...

    Preway Gas Dishwasher....

What a gas! They cheated, lol. The Preway had its own gas hot water heater built into it to get the machine's water up to 180 degrees .

    Ralph's resto

I like these machines more than KitchenAid. They move water at the rate of 60 GPM,with straight thru action. Even without a filter, they DO clean very, very well. They are not super common which adds to their flair and fun!
