    The American Kitchens was the BEST impeller dishwasher for cleaning,even better than the Hotpoints due to the upper rack rotating to make sure not a dish was missed.

    After spraying wash water at the dishes,the spraying stops and the wet dishes sit, thus the so called soak. Then the cycle resumes.

    This cannot be 1964 because avacado debuted in 1967. So this could be as old as 67 but may very well be 1972.

    Well.the tradition starts again. I just had to ask. Westinghouse appliances were wonderful, and yes of course were fun,but began to cheapen in about the mid 1970s,then really went to hell when WCI (you know Woo-cee)took them over.
