Just had a thought that you may find the new motor has a different wiring connecttion box on it, there was a conversion kit available, cant really remember if this model is affected by this now but I remember that being a bit of a problem with these old motors.

Hi you probably just need a set of carbon brushes. Dont fit the old ones if they are carcked! Part number: 1600474, fit genuine only. good luck

£65 pounds seems a really good price to me, with these machines I have never replaced the bearings. A new armature comes with new bearings. Probably a sod of a job to do as well requiring a bearing puller.

Hi If the machine is switched off, the machine will not take in water therefore the only thing that could leak is the inlet valves, they can be faulty and fill when off, often can be cured by switching water pressure down. good luck
