Yes it is worth getting it repaired. Fitting a new recirculation pump is not a majour repair. Shame to get rid of the machine for a fault like this.

Its just not economic for any company to produce a machine of such high quality for the domestic market market any more. Nine suspension points on a domestic machine!, mechanical timer, stainless steel outer tub. In my opinion this is as good as front loading washing machines get.

Wow Nice job Rick, I dont know that much about the Monkey Norge but you have done a great job in restoring it. If you are using it as your daily driver might be an idea not to spank the monkey too hard, bearing in mind she is from 1969. bertrum

Hi Bjorn, You really are spoilt for choice as to how many drums and backplates will fit your A3260, even the logic backplates and drums are interchangable!. Give it a go, it will fit!, (dont worry about if the thermostat holes differ they can be blanked off if not required.)

Sounds like just random wires could have been removed then. Be carefull when putting them back, fixing these wiring faults can be tricky!, getting a wiring diagram may be hard to find after all these years.
