VZUG Adora SLQ - impressions

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Quite common. At least in white. The Zug Adora is a machine you will find in many households in Switzerland. Until recently only in Switzerland though, they were manufactured only for the Swiss market. This blue one is the only one in color I have seen so far. I don't know if this is the only color they made or how many of it were made.

Yes this Blue V-Zug looks really nice and very well made, never seen inside one mind.

With regard to buying one of the later models in the UK, my concerns would be, part availability, availability of technical information, after sales sevice (who are the repair agents in the UK?, how many engineers would be willing to look at one of these?).
Your really are taking a leap of faith buying a un-usual, foreign make.

V-ZUG also provides guarantees of spare parts supply with durations between 12 and 17 years, which is rare in the industry and can be explained by the longer-than-average lifespan of the products."

Parts availability is a big issue. From my research, parts for W series Primus machines are hard to come by in the US. Sure you can find most of the switches and even both timers for $600.00 and $397.00 respectively. My issue is bearing kits and seal kits. The second machine Primus W-10X^2 will need bearings in the near future. Oh sure, I can find parts for it in the UK, but currently that is quite a distance.

Since there are plenty of the Zug Adora SL machines around, they should be there 5-6 years from now. When I finally get out of college, I'm going to have to track this machine down and drag one back to the US with me. Geez, we have such crappy machines here in the US. Machines on the other side rock!!

Thanks Guys for the info!
