I had that Kenmore portable too. It was an Inglis/Whirlpool machine and had the silverware basket in the door. That's why I bought it. Great design all the way. Mine was Almond coloured, had the three buttons with the rocker switch for the dry option and the high sided upper and lower racks...

Loads of fun yes, BUT...... so time consuming. In their day, we had more time for it. And didn't mind the effort. Not so much in today's "instantly connected" world. Ah, to slow down and enjoy it all over again........ But I truly do enjoy using my twin tubs.
