Thanks. I was under the impression that if it detected a load of Synthetics it did a cool down at 40° on the Automatic programme.

Are you aware if the cool down on Miele Minimum Iron 40°C no longer default? I've run two loads of cotton (about 2 kg) in my Miele W 5985 and in neither case was a cool down carried out, only drain, one spin burst and straight into first rinse.

Why do you think VZug has not provided a fuzzy logic system that reduces the time of the programme with partial loads?

These are the Choice results. I agree that VZug went for short standard cotton washes as required by the Swiss market, and (rightly so) didn't worry about consumer associations' testing criteria. I don't understand why Which? wouldn't test the Adora as it's recently tested a TOL Miele...
