anyone owne these cars? (looking for owner opinions)

Timonator...sounds like you need to modernize your thinking! The world will pass you buy and from the sounds of it very quickly. My experiences are true and only have happened to me. All I can share is what truly happened to me. I dearly love the two classic GM cars that I drive in the summer...

anyone owne these cars? (looking for owner opinions)

Timonator... I must have hit a nerve here. These are only my experiences. No Hoover is not an American made machine anymore since you want to bring this into it. They are made in CHINA and everyone knows it. Purchase a Hoover and you support the Chinese economy. What we as Americans have to...

anyone owne these cars? (looking for owner opinions)

No...the cars were junk from the beginning. The dealers just tried to polish American made crap...hate to say but American cars use parts made in China and other foreign countries which bolsters THOSE economies. The arguement that profits from Honda sales benefits Japan is just another American...

anyone owne these cars? (looking for owner opinions)

Vacuumfreeke... I owned an '03 Alero that I bought new off of the lot in December 2002. I got 29,000 miles out of it before it was totaled. I had the el cheapo model...no electric windows...plain hubcaps...no spoiler....etc. I had no end of trouble with it. Mostly the brakes were a problem. I...

A question about Hoover badged percs.

Yes, you are correct. Presto made them for Hoover for a number of years. I think the first one was 1965 and then well into the 1970's. Hoover made one in 1955 but I am not sure who made it. This model was not around for long. There are way more of the Presto versions out there. When your coffee...

    General Motors Strike

GM is getting what it deserves. I have had plenty of new and used GM cars over the past 20 years. I switched to Honda last year and life is good. I no longer have to wait on parts, hang out while they fix some stupid problem, go through brake pads, and figure out why this light is on or this...

    September 14th Wash-In Information

Kyle... I truly do hope that you will ignore those foul comments. You are a good person with a bright future. You have a fantastic collection that most of us can only dream about. You have a great family and I know that your parents ARE very proud of you. You have accomplished so much in so...

    ANNUAL REPORT TO THE CLUB

You mean you can't just chuck it all in one load? As long as the lid does not pop open, I keep adding clothes. Then I just throw in some soap and away I go! My Whirlpool is now almost 9 years old and it still is purring away. Seems like such a waste to use the "small" load setting. I even stuff...

    Behind the wheel...

Yeah...Pete are you coming to North Canton next month??? There is very little difference between the '71 and the '72 model Ninety Eights. I prefer the '71 over the '72 just because of the front end difference. --Tom

    Behind the wheel...

Yes...it is sad that the Oldsmobile marque is gone. I know that was the straw with me and General Motors. I am not going to put up with crappy construction and minimal resale of its new cars...that is one thing, but now that Olds is gone and my '03 Alero is a pancake, what should I buy? So I...

Here is my other Olds...1977 Cutlass Supreme... --Tom

    Behind the wheel...

Well...I of course disagree. I always thought that the Oldsmobile was a good looking car. I think that some years maybe one looked better than the other, but overall they were both good looking cars and essentially the same. In the 1970's the Electa and the 98 were more the same than ever. I...

    1970 Bug Arrives from California!

Here is another shot...what is the difference between your VW Bug's wheels and this one? They look different to me. These wheels did not seem as "deep" as your car. Oh and this 1969 model had no vents in the rear hood only above it below the window. Was this just a model year change thing or did...

    1970 Bug Arrives from California!

I was at a car show in Akron on Father's Day and saw this 1969 VW. It looks like the one in the photos. This one had very low miles something like 30,000 or so. It still smelled new. I thought I would post a photo of it. --Tom

    My New Car

Congrats on your new Honda...I have had my Accord for a little over a year now and it has 10,000 miles on it. I have only had it in for 3 oil changes. That is it! I have owned three brand spanking new GM cars in the last 12 years and had nothing but trouble. This is the first car I have ever...

    Letter to the club

Austin... I have to say what you did took some serious guts. I have to admire you for apology. You stood up and said I did it and now I am going to be responsible and take the consequences. That showed real maturity on your part. I commend you for your honesty. Life lessons like this are very...

Hoover Mach 5 Cyclonic - NEW

This machine looks very similar to the "Fusion". At least it looks to have "Fusion" roots as the handles look very similar. I like the look of this machine. It seems to be a very good bargain too considering the price of a dyson. It is definitely a China made Hoover. Cool looking machine! --Tom
