What I have noticed after cleaning the tub ring and somewhat
the hose with slots that fills and rinses is that parts of
it produce a spray that goes over the top. Standing in front
with the front of the machine off I can feel a spray mist on
my feet.

It appears the spray slots in the hose allow the spray to hit
the edge of the tub ring and, by whatever laws of physics are
involved, water is drawn up the side of the tub ring and a
spray is generated that goes up and backwards. May not be a
whole lot and I'm most bothered by the fact it actually goes
outside the tub, but it may help contribute to the scale
buildup on the tub ring.

I've tried pushing the hose away from the inner edge of the
tub ring so the spray doesn't hit it, but obviously it doesn't
stay in that position.

Does this happen to others out there?

Yes

It happens with mine, and that's part of the reason I've decommissioned it for now. I too could feel the mist of water going up underneath from the slots in the Jet-Circle.

What happens is that they either plug-up or distort with age and end up spraying in all directions. I haven't found a good solution for mine yet--the tube is as hard as beef jerky and not much amenable to being repositioned...I might try to fill some of the errant slits with epoxy or maybe come up with a shield of some sort.

Short of a nice, new, pliable Jet-Circle, I'm not sure how to fix this. Maybe others have some experience and tips? :-)

Don't know what I'm going to do yet, but at least I know it's
called a Jet-Circle now.

Thanks.
