1950s Stainless Foodarama on Craigslist

Had no idea they made these in stainless. Picture is not very good.

David according to my research they weren't. According to all the advertising I have seen for these the early ones were offered only in white and then in 1955 they started offering them in 8 different colors. But nowhere in any advertising did they mention the Foodarama ever being offered in stainless steel. I think this was one that the paint had gone bad on so someone decided tos trip the paint off it...PAT

Makes sense. Its supposedly been sitting for 20 years, I wonder if they sanded it and clear coated it?

I'd say that's the right answer. The outside trim is missing such as the Kelvinator logo plate (if this is a 55 model) and the trim pieces around the handles.

Not a bad price. Not ideal, but not the worst.
