Dr. Manny came today to pick up the '51 Westinghouse. The timer was just rebuilt but not working, the boot leaks, and there may be a loose wire to the motor. So off to the hospital it goes. Dr. Manny is still working on Blackstone 250.
I am also getting tankless hot water heater installed so I gave 1 year old water heater to Manny.

Dr. Manny checked over the Norge. Needs some work but he said he will take the Norge after he finishes the machines he has.
He is a GODSEND!!!
In the meantime, he says I can continue using the Norge.

Here is laundry room in the back of the house.
I am having tankless water heater installed and with old water heater gone, I have space for 2 more machines.

Thor Drive Block

SOOOOOO...Anybody feel the least bit responsible for stressing the drive block on the Thor? No, it's not over loaded. You should have listened to the old bald guy and his nagging. Bob is a good thing. Bob loads are a bad thing. A very bad thing. Why would anyone try to figure out ways to wash less? Isn't that why we do this, to wash more and play with the machines? Next time you'll listen. No phosphates for a month! Do you hear me? Don't make me take my drive belt off!

Tankless hot water heater

Ross you will just love the tankless Hot water heater system. i have been using them in my home and apartment for many years now and they are a godsend you will notice a huge drop in your gas bill as you only use the hot water that you need not a whole 40 gallon tank they are the wave of the future Enjoy

John- Yes I have heard good things about the tankless water heater.
Chris- Yes, I love the '51 Westyslantfront and have had a lot of fun with that machine over the years.
Greg- Just about all the new spots will be taken once the Blackstone 250 comes back. Norge works ok but Manny wants to take it down the shop when he finishes working on the Blackstone and Westinghouse.

Very cool Ross

nice to see pics of those awesome machines again too! Please keep us updated!
Now someone please explain what a tankless water heater does, I am a mite confused on that one!

Dadoes, that's you queue..

Heats water FAST on demand. Does nto sotore any hot water. Amount of heat added varies with flow in an attempt to maintain a counstant ouput temperature.

Unit must be adequately sized for number of water-outlets, (i.e. points of use that may be flowing at one time).

If for any reason the water is not hot enough, just draw less at one time!

In theory this type provides a limitless supply of hot water for ht etaps. Care must be taken to prevent freezing in that there is NO HEAT generated or lost during non-use!
