1956 Philco double oven

This is the manual for my 1956 Philco double oven range, I'm third owner. Very good condition, my 90 year old neighbor's kids remodeled her kitchen for her & got her a "modern" stove, set out in back a couple of weeks before I talked to her, said it was headed for the junkyard so sure, I could have it. Has colored inserts that show in color the different surface unit heats. Flourcent light comes on when any surface unit is on. I'm missing the meat therometer & jiffy griddle.

From my manual, clock is on the left, meat thermometer dial is on the right, below it is the minuite timer, it still works! Drawers are grey & white striped.

Jiffy griddle

The griddle sits above the broil element, pulls out for use. There two pieces of glass just below the broil element, supposed to prevent spattering.

Philco..

We had a Philco dealer in my hometown of Lenoir NC when I was a kid, they also sold Norge, there were lots of Philco stoves and fridges around, very good heavy made stuff!
