Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support AutomaticWasher.org:

My God,

It's the Jon Jetcone Jukebox Duomatic, one of the coolest most unique control panels ever made.

How often does one of these show up? Especially if it works as this one appears to.

Wow

Looks like a great machine! That detergent dispenser would completely remind me of the luandromat as a kid. Dexter Fls with the same thing...

That looks nice - the quintessential Duomatic

Whomever the lucky adoptive parent is, we'll need a full report on the "post demonstration reports" content. Bendix used to send reps. out to the customer's home after the sale to orient the homemaker with the machine and answer any questions. I met an old guy at an estate sale once that had that job for Bendix in the 50's. He was selling his only remaining Bendix, an ironer. Wouldn't take less than $300 ensuring he could hang on to that memory for the remainder of his life.

And if we all behave, and dress up pretty,

Jon Jetcone might treat us to a close-up, high definition shot of his Bendi control panel, all lit up and smiling, in a close-up, with all the sayings visible and controls in full regalia--a washer person's ecstasy.

Smiling to myself and wondering.......

......if Jon went and snagged it himself. I think it was him who once said. "You can't have too many Bendi's" ;->

If anyone from the club comes to pick it up and wants to stop by & tour my collection, I'd be happy to show you around. I am about 20 mn east of hburg.

Thanks Robert

Well, i got this wonderful machine home safe and sound. It is nearly mint except for a little rust but polished up beautifully. once again...thank you Robert.

PS sorry i have been MIA for the last year or so, i graduated from grad school (got my M.S. in horticulture) but unfortunatley could find a job right away so moved in with my grandma but now i am happily employed by Seedway as their purchasing agent for the vegetable devision.

Yay Graham!!!

My pleasure Graham, Congratulations! Nice to see you posting again, wasn't moving that combo fun? :-D lol.

Its actually a really good machine, when its working properly its the best performer of all of the combos IMO of course.

Heya

Yes, moving that sucker out of the basement of that house was a bugger. That thing weighs a ton but is worth every pound in style, curves and combo options.

I am now on the look out for more machines, i have a lead on a couple dryers so hopefully i will being posting some neat finds soon.

As always...yours truly
-Graham
