My local thrift store has a 1959 model 2700 Wulizter for sale. It does need work and it would be awesome for parts (there no back to it and I could see the internal workings. The front chrome is to die for! Please follow the link to see what it looks like.
Does anyone need it or know someone that would? I hate to see it sitting there but I don't want to spend $150+tax for something that no one wants. :)
I can get it and hold it for anyone who needs it!

This model 2700 is actually a little later, from around 1963 or so. The 1959 model is I believe a 2300 and is more ornate. That is a really good price for one! If it were closer I'd go right out and get it.

I like those "slimmed down" jukes as well as the flashy 50s machines. I see it has a tiny window so you can see the record player. I like the Wurlitzer 3000's from 1966. Transistor amp, top mounted horn speakers for more fidelity, very visible (the last) record mechanism.

Looks almost like Seeburg's 1959-62 machines. Slimmed down but still a visible mech.
