1960 kenmore dryer - Seattle area

Have a 1960 kenmore. Doesn’t heat up so well and there is a little thud noise when the drum turns. Last shot for someone to get this before I take it to the dump. I would rather not do that as I can understand an appreciation for them.

The dump would be a sad fate for this gem.
Would anybody need that beautiful control panel?
Seems it could be removed, boxed, and shipped for a reasonable amount.

Likely easy things to fix.  If a thrift store will accept it, try that first.  It would be a shame to scrap such a top of the line machine.
