1960 through 1966 Frigidaire Range ID Guide

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Hoping you can help identify the year/model of this stove?

So here is a beautiful Frigidaire Deluxe Cookmaster with a warming drawer in great shape and working order.

It was in the clubhouse for years where we own a lake house and a board member recently donated his two year old range to replace it. I volunteered to sell it on craigslist for the lake association but have looked for hours on the internet and had no luck finding out the year, model number or estimated value. I assume there was a plate or tag with all the info on the stove at one time but it no longer has one.

Any information on this great vintage stove would be greatly appreciated!

The model number should be written on a plate under one of the left burner's drip pans. It seems to be a RGC-45, from the late seventies. There's no warming drawers in these, both the lower and the left side drawers are for storage.

Yes, my husband just looked and you were right - the plate was there and it is a RGC-45. Thank you so much for your help!

Help with parts, please

Hi. I am the proud?? owner of what appears to be a 1966 Flair, RCI635K. It is in mostly working order, but needs a few parts and some TLC. I have seen a few parts posted on eBay, but am not sure exactly which ones will work for my model. Some of the items I am in need of are: broiler element, oven control knob, timer knob. Also, my HeatMinder burner doesn't work, but I am not sure if it is the burner or the control.

When we bought our house (including original Flair) the plan was to remodel the kitchen. I do really love the design of the oven and would be open to keeping it, if I can improve it's usability. Failing that, I'd like to keep it limping along for another year or two until we are ready to do the big remodel and probably sell the oven. I see them on eBay from anywhere from $200 to $3,000. Do they actually sell for that much sometimes?

I've never done any appliance repair aside from replacing a switch, cord, or knob here and there, so any advice you have would be helpful.

Thanks for your time and your help!!
