Nice Range

And not cheap when new, but not a P7.  If it were, only the lower (main) oven would have the self-cleaning capability and both the Oven Temp and Oven Set knobs for that oven would have a "Clean" position on them.  There would also be a latch for the lower oven.

Again, nice range anyway.  Best of luck with your sale.

Yikes! I'm not an upgraded member so i'm unable to edit my post , but thanks for clarifying Lawrence!

It's in beautiful condition, so hopefully we can give it to someone that will give it a nice home.

Somewhere....

Between 1968 and 1970 - I have the '67 and '71 GE catalogs and this model is not in either one. It's later than '67, because Americana oven doors were different then. And it's earlier than '71, because the cooktop is a different stamping than was used then.

Whatever year it's from, it is the "Economy" Americana model from that year. GE always had one Americana that did not have P*7 self-cleaning and did not have the thermostatically controlled Sensi-Temp front large burner. It was a way of giving consumers GE quality at a more affordable price; the company's top-of-the-line ranges were quite expensive.
