HEY GIRL!!!!
What sheer delight to hear this. I just love it that you got a 1-18. I'm green with envy;'D You so, SO deserve the gold you've found.
To a great giver comes a great gift, and a rare and most beautiful one, too. The control panel on this one is unfamiliar to me and so nice. The main dial is intriguing, and the temperature selector in a better position than way over and too big on the left as is usually the case. And the pretty blue tub, how it sparkles! Washing in these powerhouses is like listening to grand rock symphonies like Bruce's "Jungleland" or "Backstreets." When the spin shifts from low to high and the incredible circle jet sprays shoot twelve wide streams into the load, you want to dance and sing Springsteen. Dialing up a warm temp with both valves open gives a spray rinse unsurpassed by any other machine. It is truly historic! Thunderroad.
It is both wonderful and significant to hear you got the machine from Ross, but very sad to hear that he has passed. I didn't know. Like you, I was the recipient of a perfect washer, an 806 S Maytag, from that sweet man. Yeah, a suds, I know, pure heaven for which I thanked him a thousand times. Hope he hears me thanking him now for a gift that keeps on giving. And free, of course! Like you, I had many conversations with him. Oh, the stories he told! A fascinating man. Sharp extreme regret that I hadn't spoken to him in quite a while. What a loss, and what a treasure to those who enjoyed his confidence. And so uncommonly generous. To Ross.........
Have a great weekend, Sweetheart!
