I'm not subscribed to Popular Mechanics and can read the text and play the video. Maybe something related to Firefox?

LOL, the video's first section in regards to scraping being necessary for anything larger than a grain of rice references "a lot of commercials out there that show people putting a full plate of lasagna into your dishwasher" and has a clip of a woman putting a foil-covered pan of lasagna in the upper rack for purpose of baking it in there, clearly not to wash the dish.  She then takes the pan out, puts it on a countertop and removes the foil to show the prepared meal.

I friend sent me her tips on using washing machines last week and I think most of her advice is half-assed at best, she said you should never use more than 2 tablespoons of detergent etc, kept talking about detergent build-up in washers when in fact there is no such thing as detergent build-up, she is simply not very smart.

I certainly would not want her working on my appliances.

It is one of those ad-type articles, or whatever you call them. It has links to buy Cascade, Finish, and whatever. I figured that's why it's free and not particularly detailed or necessarily accurate, so I'm not sure why it's not visible to some. I used to enjoy Popular Mechanics, but if this is an example of what you get when you pay to subscribe now, well, no thanks.
