Very nice!

So glad these machines got a good home! Congrats and enjoy your new machines!
Just curious where in heaven's name did you scare up that timer for the washer??

Jim congratulations!! I couldn't remember who had gotten this set. And thank you for alkl the great pictures. This is the only Unimatic year I've never seen up close and personal, either in my childhood or as an adult at washins. Bob

I found the timer at the parts store that Jimmy (filterflo) and I went to in Oct in Aliquippa, PA.
Jimmy posted the guy's name and telephone number.
You can find it in post #311789 on 10/27/08

Hey Jim, Im so proud of you and your great work. You are becoming the Unimatic expert......now having done 2 machines with wonderful results......Congrats on a job well done !

Great job Jim!
Congratulations on a beautiful set of 50's Frigidaire classics! So glad to see they found a good home.

They must have some pretty hard water up there in Michigan..

Jim,

You can say that again... Depending on the area, many places in southern lower Michigan, especially Detroit, Ann Arbor, up to Flint and over to Lansing have very hard water. Hence if you ever watch any Michigan channel, you hear that very annoying ladies voice screaming "HEY CULLIGAN MAN"!!!

I'm glad to see that you were able to reverse the Michigan water damage. This is why when I found that Youngstown Kitchens dishwasher like Jimmy's, I wanted to get the word out. It was virgin, and had none of the Michigan sludgy buildup in the washtank, or on any of the racks....LOL.

The solution you have for the fill flume is just sweet. When we are able to "engineer" something to make it work, or make it better, you definitly get a stronger sense of satisfaction when you get to use it, and it performs better than it would have without it...

I feel that way over in the vacuum world.

Congrat's again on your beautiful set, and good luck on your continuing restoration work...

Chad

Wow, the set looks great! Wonderful to see another 56 saved. Great shots of the repairs. Looks to be in amazing shape - just look at the shine of that cross member!

Thanks for posting. Congrats on having one of the best Unimatic sets out there,

Ben

Hi Jim. Great looking set. I had exact same set but gave them to Bethann a few years ago and she still has them. Problem was that washer needed a torque spring which I did not have.

Awesome Set Jim!

Thanks so much for the pictures!
Also for the Tech Talk! Great ideas you have!
I also think it is awesome that you had a new timer!
