59 Princess Dishwasher motor testing

I need to test the motor out of a 1959 GE Princess dishwasher, but I got cold feet when I saw 4 sets of wires coming out of it. It is a reversible motor (pumps or washes) and I am posting a really bad photo of the wiring diagram just in case it might help.
On the diagram, the order of the wires from the motor (reading left to right) is RED, BLACK, BLUE, and YELLOW (that's the one going down to the relay).
If anyone can confirm which wires I can safely hook up and connect to the house current, I would really appreciate.
Stand by for more news on the 56 dishwasher next week - I've almost got it running!!

I can't believe you've got the wiring diagram. Sweet. I couldn't tell you which go where. I can hook mine back up because the wires are coded. speaking of ... I wonder where my motor is ???It was supposed to be shipped back to me from the shop last week. I'll be in touch. Eddie

You ought to also have a purple wire, and a white wire from the start relay.

Resistance split phase induction motor

As marked in the diagram,

Start relay white goes to neutral (white or large prong on house wiring)

Blue goes to load (black or small prong on house wiring)
Yellow goes to neutral via the start relay yellow

Black goes to load (black or small prong on house wiring)
Red/black goes to neutral via purple wire on start relay

(to reverse direction set black to neutral via purple wire on start relay, red/black to load)

I think that's right.

Hey, thanks for the advice! I'll give that a try this weekend - I figure it is better to play it safe than risk burning a motor that might help bring another machine back to life!
