I'm thinking 1963. I believe 1961 would have used blue accents on the console. My 1962 had more black.

Out of curiosity, does the control panel have a task light?
Not this one.
I think Lawrence is right, 1963 would be my guess, ONLY because the flange-lips on the top cover are angled inward ever so slightly, and that was a change made from 1962 to 1963 and remained that way until the bitter end.
1962's panel colors were black and chrome; 1963's were gray/white and chrome, so go figure this one that looks like it's black/white and chrome. It's almost a match to Robert's WA-755 but the dial is white instead of black. The white indicates that there is a possibility of an illuminated dial, but you'd have to ask the seller to be sure. By 1963 illuminated dials on Filter-Flo's were a dying breed. I'd love to get this model but 150 is kind of steep for a dryer this old and this far away. If it works this is a very fine performer. I'm posting some pictures of some very similar models and an ad that might be for this very model (without the courtesy of a model number, rats!). I'd guess this model number would be something like DA-717X; it has automatic control, a foot pedal and most likely a drum light.

Mine has the control panel on pedestals, but otherwise looks like that. GE probably had a matching washer for each dryer with the more deluxe washer having an independent rinse temp, maybe, and the pedestal panel. Light will come through the markings on the black dial. Jeff and I were thinking about a 5 watt CFL behind the dial.
I have the mint washer with the white and gray control panel not on pedestals and it has three keys for speed, wash temps and three water levels. Water Hog!
