And I found mine on the loading dock of an appliance dealer on a Sunday afternoon in the late 80s with an out of town friend. We called John who came with the pickup truck and rescued it. Monday morning, it would have gone to scrap.

My late friend, Tom Cioffee, asked John L. to see if he could find a turquoise fifties stove for him. He took me along and we both met John and saw his great collection. That is back in 1982. A week later, I found the thirty inch version for $25!!!!!!!!!!!! at the local DAV thrift store. Great range!
