A bit of a time warp kitchen in this ad. Sale is for fridge...but looks like a full rehab is in progress there so I'd bet you could get the cabinets, range/hood and MAYBE that eye-wrecking 70s linoleum floor if you were careful...
Interesting fridge. It's a frosty model, but has the articulated shelves. I thought those shelves were exclusive to the Frost Guard GE's. This is the first Hotpoint I've seen with them. I hope there's a drain for the defrost water in that freezer.
I have to disagree about saving the linoleum. That stuff will remain hideous forever and deserves to be in a landfill. Landlords loved it because it was indestructible and didn't showcase dirt or flaws. Dave and I had a variation of that same type in the kitchen of the first place we rented together. Our landlord was a cheapskate (news flash) and it quickly became clear why he opted for that particular pattern.
I don't like that kitchen floor either-GROSS-if its carpet--DOUBLE GROSS!!Knew someone that had carpet with a similar pattern n their kitchen-the food spills add to the gross factor.I am with most others here-grab the nearest loose corner-oppull and roll the stuff up-heave it into the Dinosaur Dumpster!Would look great-Carpeting the landfil!Oh yes HATE carpet in kitchens and bathrooms!!!
At least ONE kitchen I've been in had carpet in the kitchen and although patterned, it wasn't anything that outlandishly designed, like that floor certainly is...
How much for the young dude on the ladder? Also, the thing in the living area, to the right of the Hotpoint freezer door, hi-fi, or 1950's heating system? Love the fridge and the coppertone range.
Okay, that brown thing to the right of the ladder in the freezer door pic must be a heating system, the carpeting is several inches away from the left side and the front of it.
