Hotpoint top loader pumps

the one I am referring to is not electric but has a drive shaft that is turned by the wash motor, as the motor goes in two directions that is what decides which port the pump uses and this "Toggle" thing closes the one thats not needed. I have found pictures of the pump on google but cannot get them to copy into my message ???

All Hotpoint UK Toploaders..

Used the pump as Austin describes, it is based on the early GE Filter-Flows in the US, its driven by the same canvas strap directly cited on the top of the motor and into the pump!!

They have proven a very reliable design, I`ve never known a canvas belt to be replaced and usually the pump can be unpicked / picked etc..
