Fred and I had quite the weekend with dragging home some amazing dishwasher finds. We found both a mid 1970's Hotpoint and absolutely MINT Imperial 18 KitchenAid that looks like it was used maybe once and put away.

We were both laughing hysterically as we kept having to push the machines out of the way as we were cooking Sunday dinner to get to different areas of our kitchen, but we've always wanted a U-shaped kitchen lol!

The Hotpoint is super cool! It seems to be a hybrid during the transition time that Hotpoint dishwashers were becoming GE made. It appears to have a Hotpoint tank, racks, detergent dispenser and upper spray nozzle, with a GE spray arm and GE pump and motor assembly![this post was last edited: 2/2/2016-10:40]

*swoon*

Can I come live in the attic? LOL

What fun! Those are gorgeous finds!!

That 1970 Frigidaire is really similar to the '69 Andy found for us back in Oakland. That space-needle wash tower really did an amazing job. That was the best-performing Frigidaire dishwasher we've had so far.

I love that KitchenAid!! Isn't it wonderful to find near-new machines?

That Hotpoint is a hoot! I love the hybridized system--GE arm, Whirlpool bladder, Hotpoint tower!

How's the top rack performance with the Hotpointian tower? Those always looked like they'd do a thorough job for coverage, although I wondered if food clogging the slits was ever an issue.

Finally, a Dish-Potwasher, so that the pots and pans can come play, too. Whisper-Clean! How do you ever know when it's finished? ;-)

Enjoy that marvelous haul! Dishwasher Tetris is fun. Ask me why I have one in the living room at the moment. :-)
