Just wanted to share a couple of pix of my current Turquoise-theme kitchen before I move next week. The house you see is located up in the woods of Brownsburg-Chatham, Quebec and I have owned it since 1997. That Kelvinator range has been there for nearly three years now. I am going to have to sell it at some point, so if anyone might be interested, let me know!!

That looks like, and your fridge too, part of a set of turqoise appliances sold on ebay a few years back. Very pretty kitchen.

It is a gorgeous stove!

I guess, then, we need to ask......
Do they have to tilt up before plugging in and out?

Why do manufacturers place the surface-units so close to the edge? Doesn't anyone have large pots and pans?

BTW, Dude.

I'm bumming because (even though I'm not a big turquoise fan) I hate to see such a cool, dediacted collection get dispersed. I definitely hope that someone properly appreciative ends up with your fabulous appliances.

But size is important...

The range is a standard 30-inch model and I believe the refrigerator is also about 30 inches wide (it looks like an 18 cubic footer). The burners have been repaired/replaced over the years and only the right rear burner is an original Kelvinator pull-out one, alas. It is funny that the older ranges put the surface units so close to the edges of the cabinets - were they begging for someone to knock a pan full of hot oil over or what?

Kevin - I am 100% with you that I don't want to break up the set. At the risk of having my partner yell at me some more about turquoise appliances, if I can't find a serious buyer soon, I am going to move them to the new place and store them.

Trivia - a set just like this one was used on a short-lived CBC TV show called "The Sean Cullen Show". It stank, but I loved the look of the fridge doors on the set!
