So, the first day of new kitchen installation is over.
And so far almost everything is perfect.
Biggest "regret" is thar my mum wasn't aware that the backsplash wasn't one piece, so there is this little clash right above the sink.
Other than a quick emergency electrician visit because the power outlet for the vent hood was accidentally connected to the light switch in the backsplash.
There are 2 outlets up there - one was supposed to be switched for a light connection, the other wasn't for the vent hood, and they hooked up both to the switch.
But that was a 20min thing switching some wires around.
The vent hood exhaust was enlarged to the biggest standard (150mm, 6 inches or so) as that vent hood is powerful (up to just shy of 720m³ per hour, 25k cuft per hour).
