Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Bob, I can sure see my late Aunt Mona in that kitchen!  It's right up her alley.  She had a 1962 kitchen in a custom home, and it was long and spacious.  Then they built another custom home in the mid '70s, and the kitchen pictured above is sort of a hybrid of both of them.

Through it all, she held onto the same small appliances.  I especially liked her two-speed chrome old-school Waring Blendor.

Ralph, thank you.  That kitchen belonged to the house across the street from me, had so many memories.  I drank sweet tea before I even knew what Sweet Tea was.  Experienced lots of laughs and lots of love.  Hans, another perfect example of The Greatest Generation home owner who owned the same home for 52 years and loved just the way things were and didn't believe in going into major debt just to have the latest and greatest.   It was also my last tie to where I grew up. That household was responsible for my family looking at the house across the street while we went for a visit for the first time to their new house.  My memories from that first visit?  The Westinghouse dishwasher quietly running when I walked in the back door.  And the TOL color-coordinated Laundromat pair the builder had not managed to get out of the house from the Parade of Homes.  I was sternly told not to play with them because they weren't being bought with the house by our friends.  And over the years, so much incredible food came from that wonderful Westinghouse wall oven and cook top.  And Hans knows exactly the type of performance and joy he will continue to experience with his new stove!!!

Hans, words cannot describe how ecstatic I am knowing that--as a baker and such, I know how important that is.  You've searched far and wide.  A gentle bear hug!!

Hans, that Ambassador is awesome!! I just knew it would be a good baking oven...hope it enjoys a long tenure in your kitchen! Next time I'm in NC I want to cook on that beautiful Westinghouse range!

I really LOVE it

I loved the green Frigidaire too, but the green didn't cut it, LOL, I will never get rid of it because it was our neighbors and I remember all the good food she cooked, But this WH is the first stove since the poor old Norge that I really have liked, EVERYTHING works, Now to find a plug in griddle, I have seen one years ago.
