As to the organ he's playing - it is an electronic organ that has literally torn the organ profession apart with proponents and adversaries taking sides for or against. The shame of it is that one of the richest churches in the world, who could have any organ they wanted, have chosen this digitally sampled organ. Why? Who knows. One can't argue with the attention, fame, and infamy this organ has brought them. Again, not that they need any of that so "fame" is unlikely the reason.
btw the church is Trinity Wall Street in Manhattan, heavily damaged during the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center. The pipe organ was a total loss. Originally, the digital instrument was installed as an interim instrument until a real pipe organ could be designed and built -- a process that can take several years. After living with this organ, the church officials decided to scrap the idea of a pipe organ and keep the digital substitute permanently.
