I don't know if she'll find her mate, but she's sure to make more human admirers all lit up like that. Just...lovely.

Kevin,

It just hit me - this may be a D4 model that was made only for use on 110v. If it is, I have the manual for it...

I can't wait to see it up and running!!

800 miles - I remember driving to Marin county from Woodland Hills, thinking I'd make it one day(haha- never happened, slept at Big Sur)...so that drive you made is one I can identify with - great riding along PCH1. Congrats, on this fine looking dryer..the two look great. 1952- the year before my sister was born.

Does she sing "How dry I am" at the end of the cycle

No, my dryer is a 1952 model. I don't know the exact model years the "music box" was installed, the dryer in the video below looks like a '55 or maybe '56, model.   I think it was installed 2 or maybe 3 years only.

Does anyone know what year these were offered for sure???

The link below the video is a thread from 2006 with very good photos of the actual "music box" and here is a video of it playing.

Hey Kevin

Thanks for posting the link to the music box Westinghouse. I hadn't seen that before and it was awesome! I was just looking at your Westinghouse pairs "offspring" and couldn't help thinking how appropriate it is that they're newer models than their parents. Any idea how low it'll take them to grow up so you can use them? hehehe
