Advice On Front-Load Washer

I got an Elux 627 washer and dryer with my new house. The washer is AWESOME!
Very solid. Well built. Quiet. Washes very very well.
I’m less impressed with the dryer.
It often doesn’t dry in one cycle. And their idiotic lint trap screen is so wide that clothes often get stuck on it.

If I needed a new set I’d totally get the Elux washer again. But get a Whirlpool dryer.

We're not Costco members, yet. Seems like they always insisted you have to be in the store to enroll, and we don't suffer lines well.

Can you give us an idea of the price for the bundle that includes the gas dryer?

We see the price is good till the 6th, which makes sense. Believe that's when LG's reduced pricing is supposed to end. Thanks.

Nick, the set with a gas dryer is on sale for $2399.99 through May 6th. You can avoid the warehouse and join online. You would eventually need to get your picture taken and get your physical card at the warehouse.

This Just In.......

After much soul searching, we've decided to do nothing, for now.

With the advent of AI, wouldn't it be nice to take some of the guess work out of cycle selection, detergent dosing, and stain removal? We're not getting any younger, but would be willing to wait up to a year to see how this plays out.

We were leaning towards LG. Probably, still are; but, it's hard to overlook the sheer number of complaints about the lack of back lighting on the newer control panels. We feel like we've read hundreds, already.

Lorain seems to think it's not that bad; and, I would have to agree when it's viewed in a store that happens to be lit up like an operating room. Not sure what LG's message is, here, but seems like they may have shot themselves in the foot.

For now, we're standing pat. Thanks a million for everyone's help. Nick
