Just bought this machine the other month and rather impressive and programs not too long compared to other modern machines, It is an Electrolux who I read purchased AEG in the around 1994, and Zanussi in 1984, in the UK Zanussi has been phased out for some odd reason. I had previously a 14 year old Zanussi Essentials but the bearings had gone and minor corrosion around the soap draw

I hadn't realised they'd now stopped selling Zanussi altogether, they'd already repositioned it as a low end budget brand. There also seems to be far fewer AEG branded models without a filter now, which are presumably made by the same factory as the budget Zanussi range were, so perhaps they're are phasing those out too. I believe the pump on those attaches direct to the tub to cut component count.

Here's a news item about it https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/com...i-brand/ar-AA1sTD43?ocid=finance-verthp-feeds

Alongside its results, Electrolux said it will no longer sell its Zanussi brand and will instead monetize it as part of the group’s licensing business.

The bearings on my own Zanussi lasted 10 years before needing replacing due to the seal leaking, it's now 16 years old, but has only done a little under 5,000 hours.
