So guys...this is one of my "daily drivers" in the winter. The last couple of loads I have done, when I pass by the dryer, it is no longer tumbling, but the pump (for the condensation) is still running. Also...the dryer is extremely hot.

So I take out the water reservoir, open the door and let things cool down (20 mins), then it works again.

Any ideas?

Your dryer is overheating. The motor drives the drum and the blower. Either the electrical connection is loose or the motor has shorted in the windings.

Does the condensor need a clean?

Also it may be a good idea to remove all filters and give them a scrub with hot water and dish soap or do what I do and stick them in the dishwasher :o) I have been known to put the condenser in the DW as well if really gunged up.

You may want to see if the stats in the filter area need a wipe to remove build up as that can cause the issues you are experiencing.

Hello Guy

when you remove the filter out of its slot if you look inside can you see anything that resembles a sensor it should be visible I hope :o) give any thing you can see a wipe with a cloth and with a little luck that may sort it.
