Was wondering if anybody has seen a vending machine this old… I’m thinking it has that sheer look but would like to know your opinion on its age and maker. Thank you.

Off hand I’d say this machine is from the early 60’s at the very earliest. This is because the machine has a can opener and pop tops didn’t come into use until about ‘63 0r ‘64. All the soda vending machines that I recall from my childhood (born in ‘51) dispensed bottles, not cans.
The machines at gas stations required that you either pay them the 3 cents bottle deposit if you wanted to leave the premises with the soda, or drink it there and leave the bottle behind. A machine that dispensed cans would have eliminated the bottle deposit.

Same here..They weren't that common compared to bottle machines. The cans back then were rolled steel and not aluminum so they didn't have a pop top.

These weren't very common in my experience because as Eddie stated, pop top cans were in widespread use by the mid '60s. I do remember using the can opener on these, which was a two-step operation because you had to turn the can around to make the additional vent hole. Among collectors, I would imagine these machines have value since they were on the scene for only a brief period.

I was going to say that you should be able to date it approximately based on the logo design.
..but then I Googled "7up logo history", and every single reference I found was different!
Here are four examples, all completely different from each other.

The 1940s-1950s logo was still on many of the returnable bottles until those types of bottles were phased out, which coincidentally was around the same time the whole ecological movement was trending. Go figure.
I know a couple people who are experts in vintage vending. Will ask them! I do know that the can opener function was very early; first generation canned beverage dispenser.
<span style="text-decoration: underline;">EDIT:</span> Based on the design of the machine its self, and the can punch device (ignoring the 7up logo) it is an early 1960's machine. Soda companies have licensed reproductions of their logos for decades. It's very likely the machine was refurbished and given a new 7up logo at some time; where the people doing the refurbish chose that logo even though it was not current at the time.
