I'm surprised I haven't seen this online here already. Sun has also compacted their powder detergents and added an oxi-active variety to the line-up. I wouldn't get too excited; the after-scent is just as bad as the liquid: cat urine.

I bought a box of this last night for laundry on Saturday (or Sunday, depending on when I want to do it). This, All Free and Clear and Surf had 1.00 coupons on the box, so I opted for the All Oxi-Active.

I'm neither pleased or displeased with the scent as it is in the box right now, and felt the same way about the liquid. I also think relating the scent to cat urine is a bit too far fetched. Cat urine doesn't smell this "good".

I guess product usage and the results that are given are in the eye of the beholder. I'm using this as an alternate to the Sears detergent I bought a few months ago. People on here have ranted and raved about it. But I'm not all that pleased with it, as I'm not getting the results I expected.

No ONE detergent can do the job for everyone

There are many many factors that effect detergent performance. What will work well for one will not for another.. Have seen plants as mine across the street from each other and with the same equiptment but the same detergents would not work for both plants.. Some factors that effect that most never think of is Gas or electric water heating, age of pipes , how soft the water is, the way the detergent is measured, Type of plumbing copper, plastic, ect. over loading, under loading, Time, temperature, machine size and type, soil factor, color factor. to mention just some. different city water sources will greatly effect results also summer or winter waters can be different in mineral content with great effects also.

I bought the All Free and Clear Oxi Active HE liquid on sale at the grocery store last week. Buy one get one free. I switch between Publix Free and All Free and Clear for my Y fronts and other unmentionables. I haven't tried it yet.
