Just finished creepy book called "14 by PETER CLINES". It takes place in an old apt building in LA. The only old building I ever lived in was in NOLA built in 1929, but of the scenes were familiar. Being a sci/fi/horror lover I thought it was good.

Having finished Steven King's latest (not great) and 14 can anyone suggest good spooky novel? Love most creepy stuff (I'm sorta over zombies).

I didn't know they had "brownstones" in LA other than on one of the Manhattan/Brooklyn lots....
