OMG I would never leave that part of the museum, all the machines and the vacuums, fires and toasters. I can see a Hoover Constellation on the right of the second photo; I’m looking for one to go along side my Maytag satellite.

Hi All,
Amberley is a working museum, and the Electricity hall where the vintage apliances are housed is great. The musuem was originally set up by a gentleman called Bob Gordon, and was called the Milne Museum (different location & he also wrote a book)
I have been to the museum many times and had some interaction with the machines on display at present. They have got other machines in a storage container which they change around periodically..they also have a private library, with some good information.
The museum is based in Arundel, West Sussex.

Wow! I've always fancied going there, and I had no idea they had that section!
Arundel is not too far from me, so I feel a trip coming on, in the very near future!
