Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Fabulous!

Even in my seriously biased opinion!

If my parents had bought a set a couple of years sooner and they had consoles like those, I'd likely have a more forgiving attitude with regard to Norge laundry products.

Robert, was the dryer rack included? Tom did an accurate description of the rack in reply #37.  This is my favorite dryer rack arrangement of all time.  Nothing else compares to it.  But the flexibility came from the stop & dry and tub fin positions.

Wow!!! completely speechless - how in the world were these kept so pristine?? Craigslist - was that local or somewhere else in the country?

Here's what our comparable Norge looked like as well as the cycle chart that applies to both.  Sorry have little experience with documents and this is the best I could do.

Who saw today's POD?  There's also a POD of our Norge version--schematic/advertisement.   Both of these have the filter system design I've never seen in reality.  It had a filter stream spout at 12 o'clock that went out to an agitator mounted filter pan.  but I guess it didn't make it to market with the GE Filter Flo being patented I imagine.

Amazing how you can find them so pristine Robert. Amazing set here! Love the "safety spin" sticker still intact and in good condition.

I always felt like the lip of the outer tub jutting out from the underside of the cabinet so far into the wash area always looked "awkward" on these Norges. Anyone else know what I mean?

I'm speechless as well. My godmother had a washer pretty much just like it. It ran for years and years without repair. My own mother had a 1969 Montgomery Wards Norge as well. It didn't hold up quite like the earlier version, I think it started leaking at the bottom. These Norges were the ultimate water hogs on high settings. The machine you have is fabulous, very well built. Quite possibly THE find of 2016 so far.
PS: If I found that machine I'd replace my 2015 SQ in a heartbeat, or at least supplement it anyway.

I'm speechless.
