Hotpoint here is absolutely rare. So you will find only these Ariston ones. Somehow it can happen that a real Hotpoint spawns and wants to be catched. Hotpoint could never really enter the German market. There were to many other competitors like BSH, AEG, Miele. Even a real Hoover is rare. You can be lucky if you find a soft wave. But one time I was very lucky to find a logic 1300 de luxe. We never had the Computer Logic ones. So that Model was the best one you could get here.
Now to the Hotpoint. It‘s in fully working condition. Even it wouldn‘t , I have enough parts for it. I‘m very interested how it works. My first time with a Hotpoint! I will put later the plastic parts to bleach. So it will be all white again. Except the door.

Jup

The door has been replaced by this one.
I washed today with it and I‘m positively suprised.
I was not expecting much from it because you don’t have
many options. A pretty simple one but with different washing
rithms and an agressive spin.

Hotpoint Ariston Creda

Wow, now thats an unusual find, we never had the two dials here as Hotpoint unless it was a washer dryer , they were badged Creda with the two dials for temperature & programming with push button options ,

So as far as a simple machine you have a very unusual one, cant quite see is the inner dial , is it for temperature or spin speed ?

The white plastic of Hotpoint was always yellowing wether in direct sunlight or no light at all, Im sure it will look great afetr the retrobrightung .

Cheers, Mike

It‘s a washer/dryer

That Hotpoint is a washer/dryer. The inner dial is the timer for the dryer. Model number is 9936 and spins with 1200 rpm. It could probably be the last 9936 you can find here. You can be very lucky to find a Hotpoint here.

Hotpoint Washer Dryer

That looks fantastic and on its official plinth as well, where did you manage to find that in Germany ?

The Hotpoint L.E Range or Low Energy was a feathure on the New Generation models, all normal wash programme selections were automatically set 10d under actual temperature concept being you save money and energy as standard ,
you had to PRESS the SUPERWASH to make it wash at the Normal Wash Temperature 10d higher . Most people went through the machines life usuing less energy without realising it .

I met someone who worked at Hotpoint here

I have two pedestals. He had a few more but I couldn‘t take more.
He gave me all the service manuals and service division folders for the 1980-2005 models.
Some original spare Parts for the microtronic x2000 ( a model I am looking for), microprofile and some other models.

That‘s the one.

This is the model I am looking for. Sold here in Germany too. The chances aren‘t high to get one but if one appears, I will do anything.
